Dr. Fauci Funded ‘Frankenstein’ Research: “Aborted Babies” Parts Sewn Onto Mice

DR. ANTHONY FAUCI’S Agency has come under fire for bankrolling Frankenstein-style experiments where aborted babies’ scalps and organs were stitched on to rodents

It comes as Dr. Fauci – Joe Biden’s top medical advisor – is facing a fresh wave of scrutiny for funding virus research at a Chinese lab which is facing questions over whether it may have leaked Covid.

• Documents seen by The Sun Online outline grisly experiments that include cutting out unborn children’s body parts and then fusing them onto lab rodents to grow adult human skin and cells from organs such as spleens and livers.
  
• The study was carried out by the University of Pittsburgh in 2020 – and was in part funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
• The US taxpayer funded agency, part of the National Institute of Health (NIH), has been led by Dr Fauci for the past 36 years.
• The fetuses are understood to have been donated from pregnancies terminated at the Magee-Women’s Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
• However, doctors argue these sorts of experiments are crucial for developing treatments from critical diseases – despite how uncomfortable some may find them.
• Dr. Fauci is not believed to have been directly involved in funding the experiments – but it was carried out by an agency under his control.  Similar experiments using fetus parts have allegedly been carried out at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in order to carry out experiments with coronaviruses.
• Some suspect Covid may have accidentally leaked from the lab and was covered up by China as the hunt continues for the virus’s origins.
• The renewed focus on Dr. Fauci – who infamously butted heads with Donald Trump – has also shined new scrutiny on other experiments back by his agency.
• Pictures from the controversial study shows mice with tufts of brown human hair sprouting from their backs after aborted babies’ scalps were grafted on.
• The research used of body parts from aborted or stillborn fetuses — of up to five months.
• Dr Fauci’s agency NIAID reportedly granted a team of scientists at the University of Pittsburgh about ($235,000) £170,000 in 2019.
• The aim was to use aborted or stillborn babies to study how to battle human skin infections which can lead to gruesome flesh-eating bugs.

• Herb Geraghty, who heads pro-life campaign group Rehumanize International, told The Sun Online: “The fetal tissue experiments that researchers at the University of Pittsburgh are performing are disgusting and barbaric.
• “As taxpayers, we should be enraged that we are footing the bill for this horrific violence
• “In the reports the researchers publicly released, they include actual photographs in which the hair of these human babies can be seen growing on the backs of the rodents.
• He added: “It is these human organs that the researchers claim to need for their studies as results from tests on non-human animals are not as useful to determine clinical outcomes in people.”
• ‘TUFTS OF HUMAN HAIR ON MICE
• The Pittsburgh scientists explain their study in a report called the “development of humanized mouse and rat models with full-thickness human skin and autologous immune cells”
• The process works by destroying the rodents’ own immune systems using radiation.
• Aborted baby’s scalp and other body parts are then grafted onto the ribcage of a mouse or rat.
• After 10 weeks it grows to the thickness of an adult human along with its immune system. 
• Scientists then infect the skin with a super bug called staphylococcus aureus.

• Explaining the procedure, the study reads: “Full-thickness human fetal skin was engrafted over the rib cage, where the mouse skin was previously excised.
• “Human hair is evident at 12 weeks post-transplantation. 
• “The co-engraftment of these human skin and immune system components into a single humanized rodent model could provide a platform for studying human skin infections.”
• It comes as Republican House member Madison Cawthorn called for the well-respected Dr Fauci to be arrested for allegedly lying to a Senate committee hearing last Tuesday.
• During this Senator Rand Paul suggested to Dr Fauci that he had lied before Congress in May.
• Back then he denied his agency funded the Wuhan laboratory which carried out so-called “gain of function” research — where viruses are made more dangerous in labs to study its potential impact in the real world.
• Sen Paul said: “Dr. Fauci, knowing it is a crime to lie to Congress, do you wish to retract your statement of May 11 where you claimed that the NIH never funded gain of function research in Wuhan?”
• The virus expert strongly denied this and insisted on not retracting the statement.

• But Sen Paul has now referred Dr. Fauci to the Justice Department for allegedly lying to Congress.
• Meanwhile, Vanity Fair has reported how Wuhan Institute of Virology’s (WIV) top researcher — Shi Zhengli, also known as “Bat Woman” for her work with the flying mammals — appears to have tested two new, but undisclosed coronaviruses on humanized mice to gauge their effectiveness.
• The magazine cited as evidence comments Shi made to a scientific journal, as well as information contained in a Chinese government database.
• Shi has repeatedly denied the coronavirus leaked from a WIV lab.
• A spokesman said: “This research also investigates viruses, such as Zika, that can cause severe to fatal birth defects. 
• “At Pitt, fetal tissue research is uncommon—these projects account for less than 0.5 per cent of all research underway at Pitt — but important for advancing life-saving discoveries.
• The NIAID has been contacted for a comment.
