Invasion Without Bullets? Chinese Communist Entities Buying Land Surrounding U.S. Military Bases

The New York Post has indicated that Chinese-communist-owned farmland has been identified near at least 19 United States military bases in the United States, including installations in Florida, Hawaii, California, Texas, North Dakota, and Virginia.

As of late 2022, Chinese entities owned approximately 349,442 acres of United States farmland. While this represents a small fraction of total foreign-held agricultural land

They include some of the military’s most strategically important bases: Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in Fayetteville, North Carolina; Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) in Killeen, Texas; Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, and MacDill air force base in Tampa, Florida.

Experts warn that these land holdings could be leveraged for intelligence gathering or to exert influence over local infrastructure and politics.
